Münster (Germany)

Visiting Münster is a rather different experience compared to seeing Amsterdam. It only has about a third of the population (ca. 300,000) of the Dutch metropolis, but it’s about 500 years older (founded in 793). It has a fascinating history, most significantly it hosted the signing of the Treaty of the Peace of Westphalia in 1648. This was done in Münster’s Peace Hall in gothic town hall that we will visit. Münster is nearer to Enschede, hence it is a shorter trip that includes the following:

  • travel to and from Münster by coach
  • 8:00: departure from Enschede
  • 9:30: arrival in MünsterMünster, Prinzipalmarkt
  • ca. 9:45: 2-hour guided walking tour through the city, including a visit to the Peace Hall
  • from 11:45: free time
  • as we will be very central, there will be a famous food market just nearby, and because of many great food options and restaurants around, everyone if free to pick their own lunch place
  • 17:00: departure from Münster
  • ca. 18:00: arrival back in Enschede

Cost: 45 Euro per person*

* for this price to apply we need at least 15 people to join the tour
